The Michigan Burn website has just-in-time training videos available now. Videos are available at www.MichiganBurn.org. Available videos include are how to put dressings on burns, the use of Mepliex in dressings, and comprehensive learning modules and specialty care. The biennial meeting provides an update on work done at the State Burn Coordinating Center (SBCC) and for Burn Surge Facilities to provide an update to partners. Following the meeting, will be a functional exercise. Click the picture below for an updated flyer.

This meeting will be held virtually from 12:30-1:30 p.m. followed by a functional exercise from
1:30-4:30 p.m.

On-line seats are still available to attend the Burn Surge Facility Training on November 14, 2023. As a reminder, in order to complete the Burn Surge Facility Training, you must complete the ABLS Now on-line course and send the completion certificate to Sarah Parviz at separviz@med.umich.edu. If you need the instructions to create an account with the American Burn Association (ABA) contact Lauren Korte at kortel@Michigan.gov.

Please don’t wait until the last minute to take the ABLS Now course.
As a reminder, the ABLS Now course must be completed prior to taking the BSF Training.
