What:               “Introduction to Spiritual Care in Disasters” is an instructor-led conference designed to familiarize learners with the spiritual care function to disasters and incidents of high impact

When:  December 13, 2023     9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.      Registration and breakfast 7:45 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.

Speaker:           Mr. Al Schipper’s background includes hospital chaplaincy and work as the Director of Spiritual Care and Mission in Battle Creek (retired).  Mr. Schipper is part of the American Red Cross and serves on national deployments for fire, floods and hurricane response and is also a trainer in spiritual care and disaster response for the American Red Cross.

Cost:                 This event is free for participants. This conference is supported 100% by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services with funding from the U. S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response
