 Understanding How Ebola Spreads Image courtesy of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention http://www.cdc.gov/vhf/ebola/index.html The Office of Public Health Preparedness (OPHP) sent out a notice with information and resources about the Ebola virus. In their notice, they included the Michigan Ebola Guidance document for all Healthcare Coalitions and partner facilities to review and utilize. Region 7 Healthcare Coalition forwarded this information to all regional Planning Board partners on August 27, 2014 and urged partners to review and disperse the information. The region has asked partners to monitor the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) website and develop a plan in the event of a potential Rule Out and Positive Ebola case in their facilities.
