Camp Grayling Centennial

7/22/2013

July 19-20, 2013
Summary

In preparation for the Camp Grayling Centennial the Region 7 Healthcare Coalition Coordinator helped the Army National Guard prepare for any potential medical response by having one of the region's alternative care trailers on the Camp Grayling grounds along with some medical assets. On July 19-20 the Regional Coordinator staffed the National Guard Operation center to aide in any potential medical response, emergency or otherwise. Several agencies, in addition to the region 7 office and the National Guard, supplied staffing for this event including: MMR (Mobile Medical Response) EMS out of Grayling, Frederic EMS, Grayling Fire Department, Crawford County CERT, Gerrish Township CERT and Northflight EMS. The event went off without any major emergencies but all the preparation from all the agencies involved helped assure that if any large scale emergency happened it would have been handled with the resources available.
