Western Regional Alliance for Pediatric Emergency Management (WRAP-EM) Multi-Health Care Coalition (HCC) Chemical or Pediatric Surge Virtual Tabletop Exercise
WRAP-EM is considering conducting a series of multi-HCC chemical or pediatric surge virtual tabletop exercises to validate annexes/plans as was hosted by WRAP-EM in 2022-23. The exercises would be held in the February-April 2024 timeframe. In addition to fulfilling Hospital Preparedness Program (HPP) requirements, there are potential benefits for HCCs to share and learn from each other by participating jointly in a virtual tabletop exercise. The playbook is NOT intended for rapid pediatric surge responses such as a mass casualty incident (MCI). Take a look at the Playbook and see if there is anything to strengthen Pediatric Medical Surge Plan.
