The Preparedness Lunch and Learn series continues in October with more Chemical preparedness information. Topics will continue to build knowledge for emergency managers in hospitals and other healthcare facilities as well as coalitions, local health departments, tribes and others. The Systems of Care Conference is an opportunity for Medical Directors, staff, and leadership to come together to learn new and innovative ideas and initiatives across the state and country. Participants will better understand how to advocate for, facilitate, and support resiliency in EMS & Systems of Care. The conference also strives to improve the overall care of trauma patients and provide a coordinated and accountable system of emergency care that ensures the right patient gets to the right place at the right time. Information and data related to trauma, new initiatives, programs to address injury, workforce challenges, and establishing Stroke and STEMI Systems will be discussed. The conference is being held virtually on September 27-28, 2023. In this series of virtual trainings, the main core subjects all healthcare Emergency Managers use such as Incident Command Structure, Hazard Vulnerability Assessments, Exercises, After Action Reports, Crisis Standards of Care and more will be covered.
