CMS is hosting a call open to the public on Wednesday, October 5 from 1:30 to 3 p.m. ET to discuss in detail the provisions of the Emergency Preparedness Conditions of Participation/Conditions of Coverage Final Regulation, the enforcement/survey process, and opportunities for technical assistance. CMS is also soliciting questions in advance and the call will also include a Q&A session.
Attached is an updated flyer for the Introductory Incident Command System (ICS) for Long Term Care Facilities. This learning module provides an introductory level of information about the ICS, including basic Incident Command roles and structure, as well as the relevant functions of Long Term Care (LTC) facilities in the ICS structure. This exercise is built to engage your triage skills, clinical skills, and abilities.
