Highly Infectious Disease Exercise Planning Tools Webinar
The National Ebola Training and Education Center (NETEC) and ASPR’s Technical Resources, Assistance Center, and Information Exchange (ASPR TRACIE) are partnering on a webinar featuring jurisdictions with first-hand experience developing special pathogen exercise materials and executing related exercises. Speakers from ASPR NHPP, New York City Health and Hospitals, and University of Nebraska will share an overview of the suite of free, fully customizable, ASPR- and CDC-approved, Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP)-compliant exercise materials NETEC has developed and how these exercises support Ebola-specific HPP measures. These tools range from discussion-based exercise templates to drill, functional, and full-scale exercise templates HPP end users can use to develop special pathogen drills and exercises. The speakers will share exercise planning and execution tips and take questions from webinar participants.
The webinar will take place Tuesday, March 7, from 2:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. EST. The target audience for this webinar includes Regional Ebola and Special Pathogen Treatment Centers, State-Designated Ebola Treatment Centers, Assessment Hospitals, Frontline Facilities, Healthcare Coalitions, and Regional Transport Plan Partners.
Register here for this free webinar; it will also be recorded and archived on the ASPR TRACIE website. Please note that this webinar will be limited to the first 1,000 registrants.

NETEC is also hosting four preparedness and simulation training sessions for healthcare workers, public health officials, and clinicians in March, April, and June. Click here to find out more.
