 Bay Bluffs partners with North Central Michigan College to announce the launch of a Fast Track nurse aide training program, kicking off in October. The Northern Michigan healthcare system, and particularly Bay Bluffs, relies heavily on the expertise and care of certified nurse aides. Right now there are more community members needing care from Long Term Care facilities than they can safely bring in due to their staffing. This course is one one of many solutions being worked on to recruit NEW folks to the healthcare workforce. The Northern Michigan community depends on the success of this and other health programs that NCMC offers.
Please note that there are funding options available. If you are interested please apply for the NCMC program and request outreach for funding of the training.
